You must leave home. Below: what to do right away, what next, when to call 112 and what to avoid. The same instructions are in the free SurvivalZone app and work without internet.
First, right now
- People and pets first. Make sure everyone is ready to leave.
- Take: documents, medication, phone with charger and power bank, cash, water, warm clothes, glasses.
- Turn off gas and water, switch off the power, close windows and lock the doors.
Then
- Follow the route given by the emergency services to an assembly point or to family outside the danger zone.
- Text your family: where you are and where you are going.
- If you drive, take a neighbour who has no way to leave.
