About us
Last updated: 7 November 2026
SurvivalZone.EU is a free app that turns crisis knowledge into simple steps you can follow on your phone, even offline. Below we say plainly who we are, what already works and what we have not done yet.
Hi, I’m Dawid

I started building SurvivalZone.EU at the beginning of 2026. It is a family tradition: my late father sold survival and outdoor gear. I wanted to take that idea into the digital age.
On 11 January I registered the domain, with a name designed for all of Europe from day one. In spring came the logo and the first attempts at a classic online shop, and on 31 March I launched on social media. In summer I changed direction: instead of another shop, I decided to build something that turns a crisis into a calm, step-by-step plan. In September the platform went live, and today it is an app that works without internet.
I know readiness from the practical side: I ran my own online shops for six years and worked for ten years in logistics and warehouse management for large European retail and logistics groups. “Crisis readiness is a logistics problem: supplies, stock, routes and timing. That is what I have done for ten years.”
I am a survival and bushcraft enthusiast and I am building this for a community I belong to myself. I did it all on my own, without outside funding.
Why we do this
The European Union recommends that every household can cope on its own for at least 72 hours of a crisis (EU Preparedness Union Strategy, March 2025). The knowledge exists, but it is scattered across national guides and hard to use when the power goes out and your phone battery runs low. We want you to open one app at that moment and see what to do first.
What already works
- The SurvivalZone.app app: free, no account, works offline once installed.
- More than 50 crisis scenarios in Polish, English and German: from power cuts, fire and floods to air-raid alerts and attacks.
- Preparedness guides and a free printable 72h guide.
- An assistant where you describe your situation in your own words. It always says plainly that it is artificial intelligence.
Where our content comes from
We rely on official sources such as the Polish Interior Ministry (MSWiA), the Polish Government Security Centre, Germany’s BBK, the European Commission, the WHO and the European Resuscitation Council. Each scenario shows its list of sources so you can check where a piece of advice comes from.
Honestly about verification: our content has not yet been reviewed by independent experts. We are looking for paramedics and civil protection specialists to review the scenarios. “Reviewed by” will appear only after a real review, with a name and a date.
Our principles
- 112 first. When life is at risk, the app tells you to call for help first.
- Official announcements come first. We are not an emergency service or a source of alerts, and we do not replace instructions from the authorities.
- Minimum data. No account and no advertising tracking. Details in the privacy policy.
- No scaremongering. We show what to do, not how bad it could get.
What it costs
The core app is, and will stay, free. In future we plan paid add-ons and licences for municipalities, schools and employers. Our plans are described in the whitepaper.
Work with us and contact
We work with municipalities, schools, civil protection organisations and experts who want to review our content or roll the app out themselves. Write to us: hello@survivalzone.eu. Investor information is on the Investors page.
SurvivalZone.EU is run by Ecommersy Dawid Marcinkowski (Poland).
